Preface

Following the music flows , I realized more and more significant role of the accordion in the area of chamber music, as well as opportunities of this instrument to show the whole range of expressive means cooperating with other instruments. Let us remember the magic sound of the flute in Mozart’s works, the purity of intonation given to Paganini’s works by sounds of violin – for many the queen of music intruments, then vocality given by the most beautiful music instrument – human voice in arias of Verdi, Puccini and Tchaikovsky. All this inspired me to the accordion, which has also a wide range of artistic possibilities, unite with those instruments, creating an exceptional sound stage and turning them into real musical mosaic. Collection ”Concert repertoire for chamber music I” contains six tracks with done redaction for flute and accordion, violin and accordion, and voice and accordion. Printed music material is fully adapted to the performing capabilities of these instruments, which will greatly facilitate the contractors. Selected compositions have great artistic value and I believe they will be chosen by chamber music performers to become part of their concert repertoar. I sincerely hope that performers are pleased to perform selected pieces on the concert stage, and that this collection enriches the scarce literature for accordion and facilitates greater promotion of the accordion as an instrument.
